Tribut to Gibran Khalil Gibran, Dossier II
Antoine Berberi · Beirut, 1944

Organic arch in which swirling forms and human figures intertwine, recalling the nebula of Gibran's The Prophet. In the foreground, the face of the prophet, with a deep gaze. On the richly textured base in shades of gold and green, tiny silhouettes rise up, creating a narrative perspective. A forum open to visitors, projecting Gibran's written, painted and drawn work in three dimensions, envisaged on a bronze body of water approximately 30 metres high.
